Long before others were paying attention to environmental issues, we had implemented an eco-friendly program and we were already working to reduce our impact on the environment. At San Marco Graphics & Printing, we truly care for the environment by using soya-based inks and 100 % recycled paper. We also offer a wide array of recycled papers.

Soy-based Ink

By using vegetable-based and soy-based inks on print jobs, we help eliminate harmful emissions and chemical heavy clean up (Low VOC in the air.)

By using a computerized ink dosing system, we reduce the amount of ink used, without compromising the quality of your print. Therefore, we use only the amount of ink required.

Computer-to-plate technology

Computer-to-plate (CTP) technology is an imaging technology that helps to transfer a digital image generated by a computer directly to a printing plate to eliminate excessive chemical wastage.

Environmental ethics inks

Like our recycled paper, our inks are safe for the environment while being sustainable and vibrant. Once again, our eco-friendly inks will not modify your project’s quality in any way.

Graphics & Printing uses soy-based and vegetable-based ink. Soya-based inks tend to be clearer than petroleum-based, resulting in brighter colors. It contains less VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) than standard ink. We also have UV ink that is using less solvent that petroleum ink and it contains minimal amounts of VOCs. With a quicker drying time, this type of ink reduces energy usage from drying lamps.
